Expecting a child is an exciting time for any mother thus, a baby shower is the perfect way to celebrate! This baby shower tablescape plays with an eclectic mix of flowers and a blue color palette for a cute baby shower. The napkins and the table runner are a deeper blue while the flowers and the clouds are a lighter blue. Spread the table with heads of hydrangeas in different hues of blue then add white roses over the blue table runner to make the blue table runner pop. We placed 4 mason jars in the center of the runner with different types of flowers in each jar to make the table a little more eclectic! For a charming look we created tissue paper pom pom clouds with rain droplets!
To start creating your cute clouds with droplets you will need some tissue paper pom poms, glue gun, scissors, white construction paper, fishing line, and some tacks (to pin the finished clouds to the wall), and a needle.
Then cut out water droplets in different sizes. They are going to be strung starting from the smallest droplet at the top to the biggest droplet at the bottom. There will be two longer strings of droplets, and three shorter strings of droplets. Make two strings of 6 droplets and 3 strings of 4 droplets this way you get the uneven look throughout all the strings.
To start making the strings, take the fishing wire and thread it through the the bottom of the raindrop and the top of the raindrop. Depending on the thickness of the fishing wire, you may need to make knots throughout the fishing wire in order to keep them from slipping down the fishing line. Once you are done then just wrap the fishing wire around the tissue paper pom pom and tie a knot.
When you are done just tack the pom poms into the wall or hang them from the ceiling to have it hang over the table!
