Effortless elegance is all yours with this wedding inspiration photo shoot that we did with HQPhan Photography, Beau-coup.com, Budget Bride Gossip, La Vie Flowers and Couture Table at World Trade Center Portland. Inspired by Pantone’s color forecast for 2013 Weddings, the ultimate picture that this group wanted to achieve is how to paint an indulgently chic wedding experience while highlighting the illusion of natural beauty using various shades of green as the star of the color palette. It was a cold, winter night but this team of wedding professionals pursued to breathe life into their creative and innovative ideas — from Pinterest boards into reality.
The upside of using green for weddings is that, the color itself is an absolute stunner. How to bring out its glam side is the challenge, both for wedding planners and DIY brides alike. This is what this collaboration is for! Capture the many facets of green and showcase easy-to-pull-off table designs. Tea Green, when paired with Silver suggests cool glamour. Paint it dark beauty is what you can imagine with the Hunter Green and Gold tandem while Sage and Ivory create a sweet image of sensual femininity. Each of these themes is filled with loads of steal-worthy do it yourself creations and designed-to-wow ideas sans the high price.
The first set of our inspiration shoot instantly sent our imagination to the land of pastel pops, morning mist and new season’s blooms. Yes, the little voices in our head rallied around a single thought – a Spring Wedding theme. Just three elements — choice of base tablecloth, shiny table runner, colored napkins — were the underpinnings of this stylish and dreamy scenario. With some help from Beau-coup’s Rustic Birdcage Place Card Tea Light Holder, Hand Painted Butterfly Decorations and Love Birds Salt and Pepper Shakers, we were able to grant this table the unique touch that finally sealed this palette’s refreshing appeal. (Total cost of linens for this table? $25.36. Look at it as it’s only $3.17 per guest/head.)
Crazy about Mint? The second leg of this fun-filled activity reminded us of this color. Its first cousin Sage provided the soft and delicate detail that we needed for the summer wedding inspiration part of this photo shoot. The resemblance with Mint is clearly there. We fell in love with its subtle green accent and sprucing up the table for eight didn’t take much. For the linen ensemble, we simply used a 120 inch ivory round tablecloth, eight sage napkins, and two sage satin table runners. The floral centerpiece, wedding favors and stemware delivered the additional splash of color. (Total cost of linens? Only $27.75 or $3.46 per guest/head.)
From the floral centerpiece to the card holders, our Hunter Green palette took the dazzle effect to the next level. Noticed how Couture Table’s stemware lent an enchanting flair to this dramatic tablescape? Great! Because that’s exactly what this table linen setup is about — modern sophistication! Using gold organza table runners and sashes helped us impart a natural, glossy and captivating green finish. A little glow from Beau-coup’s tea lights, some sparkle from the gold favor boxes and stylish napkin folds wrapped up the table presentation that made the overall appeal of this color palette breathtakingly beautiful. Right away, you can imagine Autumn Weddings! (Total cost of linens for this table? Only $25.36 or $3.17 per guest/head.)
No single hue dominated the whole scene, that’s the key element of this wedding inspiration shoot. You can have a dizzying array of delightful greens but always try to fashionably put together a linen, favor and floral centerpiece fusion that will create a rich and picturesque backdrop for your wedding. The sweetest part? These high-quality linens are available at LinenTablecloth at super low price tags.
