DIY Friday | Moroccan Style Painted Glass

We kicked off our sizzling summer savings sale by building a fun, colorful tablescape. We needed the perfect Moroccan themed accents to tie the look together. Deciding to take matters into our own hands, we attempted to create our own DIY table top decor. They turned out beautifully and were a blast to make!

Mod Podge

Stencils

Paint Brushes

Food Coloring

A Paint Cup

Metallic Markers

Glass To Paint

Step One

Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Fahrenheit, or as low as your oven will go.

Mix a few drops of food coloring with a dollop of mod podge until you reach a desired color.

Using the paintbrush, paint the outside of your glass. You can paint the inside of your glass for a more smooth finish, but you may need to bake the glass a little bit longer than instructed in the next step.

Place the painted glass on a baking sheet lined with tin foil. Bake the pieces for ten minutes.

Finally, use the metallic markers and stencils to draw on the outside of the glass, creating a festive summer look!
