We recently had the honor of attending a gorgeous country wedding in the Willamette Valley. Located in the beautiful rural area of Dayton, OR, The Barn is the perfect mixture of rustic and modern. The Barn is on a lush cherry orchard surrounded by richly colored trees. This venue features two romantic ceremony spaces to choose from. The first is down in the orchard overlooking a majestic hillside and the other is the barn itself, or you can choose to hold your ceremony at the orchard and have your reception in the barn.
This lovely couple chose the latter. They lined the aisle with shepherd hooks and mason jars filled with baby’s breath and coral carnations, tied with mint colored tulle bows. Between each shepherd hook was a beautiful floral basket filled with green and coral florals.
The alter was a large redwood pergola adorned with flowers and tulle. The bride worked exclusively with a local florist to create one-of-a-kind arrangements.
Back at the barn, tables were set up for the reception covered with our crinkle taffeta tablecloths in ivory. They were further decorated with organza coral table runners. The unique centerpieces matched the rustic theme perfectly. They offered a fresh take on using mason jars by selecting two different sized jars. The two small jars contained a succulent plant while the large jar was wrapped in twine and contained a beautiful flower bouquet. Each jar was painted with mint colored chalk paint and lightly distressed. Tiny log round of various heights were added as a foundation to the jars. Fairy lights topped off the look.
Adorable handmade coasters surrounded the centerpieces. The bride’s family worked together to hand burn each favor in a design that matched the couple’s invitation.
The couple kept their head table simple and elegant. They opted for a bare wood tabletop with a mint satin runner as the only linen. A hand-cut “Mr. and Mrs.” metal sign serves as the focal point of the table.
Coral and mint served as a lovely theme that kept this country wedding looking cohesive and well planned.
